GOLD Forum Promoted in Finland (12122016)

At the recent Tobacco and Health Symposium in Helsinki on 29th November, a poster of the nomination requirements for participation in the GOLD Forum Process was presented by Sinikka Krogerus and Reetta-Maija Luhta. Sinikka and Reetta-Maija, who lead and support the implementation of the ENSH-Global standards in Finland, believe that some of their healthcare services are ready to participate in a future GOLD Process. 

Taiwan International Conference Celebrates 10 years of activity (12122016)

The 2016 International Conference on Health Promotion and Health Care Services was held by the Taiwan Network of Health Promoting Hospital and Health Promotion Administration, Ministry of Health and Welfare on November 27, 2016 in Taipei, Taiwan.The conference was opened by Ying-Wei Wang Director General Health Promotion Administration, Ministry of Health and Welfare. Tobacco-free activity and progressive achievements of healthcare services throughout Taiwan were presented and celebrated. 

New quick and easy clinic locator to help tobacco users quit (13122016)

The Irish Health Service Executive (HSE) recentlyupdated its website Quit.ie to include the most comprehensive map of HSEsmoking cessation support clinics around Ireland. The HSE has 74 smokingcessation clinics around Ireland in community and hospital settings to helpsupport you quit smoking for good.
