Tobacco-Free Stadia - collaboration opportunity!

Building on work to make EURO 2016, smoke-free for the first time, the World Heart Federation has worked through UEFA and Healthy Stadia Network and has developed a guide for implementing tobacco-free stadium policy.

The English version is available on the Healthy Stadia website. There is a short and a long version. It also comes with training presentations.

UEFA has recently presented this to all its national football associations in a workshop, so any tobacco control groups who want to work with their national associations on this issue should contact them. The guide will soon be available in French, German and Spanish.
